Lacey is a very pretty girl, just in an unusual way. Her hair is by far her favorite feature. She can wear it almost any way she feels like it; but usually wears it in a wavy, messy way that suits her very well. It is a multitude of different colors; blond, brown, some parts are almost black. She has bangs that sweep over her left eye. Her eyes range in color from brown, to green, to gold, all depending on her mood, what she is wearing, and her current hair color. Lace has multiple nose piercings. She has a small bull ring, two diamond studs, and two rings. She doesn't wear them all at once, but will combine them in different ways depending on what she feels like. She's a skinny girl, not very much muscle, but can definitely hold up in a fight. She has a body that a lot of girls would love to have and she knows it. She's average height for a girl her age, around 5'6. Lacey has many different styles and never sticks to just one way to dress.
Personality: To begin with Lacey's personality, it must first be pointed out that she is always doped up on one thing or another, whether it is weed, pills, or other illegal substances. She is a fearless individual who is not by any means afraid to try new things; whether it be drugs or other things. Mainly drugs though. She doesn't like alcohol much, but will drink it if it's easily available to her. She has been arrested a few times for minor charges, like disrupting the peace and for fighting. She does have quite the temper on her and really tends to stay away from befriending girls; she just does not get along with them. Another thing she is not too good at is relationships. She is more the type for one night stands and friends with benefits. She is not at all faithful and she hates the thought of being tied down in a relationship. She's a selfish person and she acknowledges it. She isn't afraid of screwing people over and hurting them in the process. She does what she wants and doesn't care who gets hurt or what the consequences are. She lives by the motto, you only have one life to live. And damn, she lives her to the fullest. She is not a stupid girl but is very cocky and doesn't care enough to try in school. She's been told that she is going nowhere in live by so many people that she has finally started to believe it and is now honoring their words by not trying or caring. In her eyes, she's living her life to the fullest and having fun while doing it. Lacey is a very dependent person and wants it to stay that way; the feeling of needing another person makes her cringe. Lacey really only hangs around guys, and not only for the reasons you think. Because she has never really had a parent-type figure in her life, Lacey has no respect for authority. Horses help Lacey escape to a different world where she doesn't have to worry about the drama in her everyday life. When she is competing, it is probably the only time she isn't high on something.
Riding Discipline: Hunters
Riding History: Lacey didn't start riding horses until she was about eleven years old. Her first lesson was on an old, well broke pony. She was never anything spectacular at first, just the average, fearless rider. Lace rode that pony for her first year of lessons until her trainer had decided it was time for her to move up to a younger Quarter Horse gelding who taught her how to jump. That was when Lacey's talent really started to bloom; she absolutely loved jumping. She lessoned on that Quarter Horse, Casey, until she was fifteen, when her trainer suggested she try her hand in a small, local hunter competition. She did quite well in the competition. Then again, it was nothing major; just a few small classes on the flat, but it was an achievement for a teenage delinquent who had never done much besides get herself into trouble. A few months after the show, right before her sixteenth birthday, she was again moved up to an ex-eventer, who was showing actively in the hunter/jumper courses at local shows. His name was Cattywampus, an Appaloosa/Warmblood cross who was about 18 years old. Catty and Lacey immediately clicked and she began moving up to more difficult courses in the first six months she was riding him. After about a year, she began to show him; they started off with the usual local shows, then began extending their show experience. Never anything major though. Lacey never had the money to do big shows that would maybe open up some doors for her. She leased Cattywampus right up until she turned 18, when he died of old age. His death took the heart out of riding for her, so now she no longer does it to compete. It's more of a release for her now, rather than anything serious.
