Now a tattoo shop in a small town was bound to be nothing special. A rather small shop divided by the front waiting room, then three small rooms with no doors. The front room was ever so simple, a rather worn leather couch and a few chairs, front desk, glass counter top and computer and chair, and then the amazement was the walls. Each wall a different color, then again what did that matter? Walls covered with paper, an assortment of tattoo ideas, pictures of previously done tattoos and sketches. The shop itself seemed pretty empty besides its lone occupant. Kaileen Jane Scott did not own this wonderful place as unfortunate as it was for her, though a prize employee and manager seeing as this was just one of many stores owned by one person.
Dark locks of hair pulled back from her tattooed face as she sat sketching at the front desk, she had a couple appointments today though walk ins usually brought the most profit. Her fingers moved easily with the pencil on the page, for those who knew her knew what she was sketching. Her wonderful Dona filled the page; bright face with wide kind eyes, grey mane hanging over the mare’s spotted face. Animals were definitely something KJ did enjoy drawing and when she wasn’t here she did spend a lot of time at the barn. Dark brown orbs glanced around the room slightly the empty feel calmed her as she stared down at the page again to draw. Setting down the pencil after smudging a few marks the twenty two year old stood up from her seat. She torso was adorned with a tight white camisole under a thick strapped loose bottomed tank, her tattooed arms the two full sleeves almost up to her shoulders and of course a large tattoo on the side of her neck. Addicted was one way to put it for sure, a pair of torn black jeans giving only small views to the tattoos on her shaved legs. Tattooed fingers ran though the female’s wavy dark locks untangling a few locks from the silver necklace around her neck.
Few long strides to the first back room the young girl’s makeup lined eyes peered through the window to the front pulling out a few things she would need for her upcoming appointment, everything was already sterilized and the needles all packaged individually setting a few varieties out onto a blue thick paper towel. She turned, washing her hands once again before she touched anything that sat out. Drying her hands on a single paper towel and throwing it in the garbage, she picked a few colors, setting them down on the same rolling table as the needles, grabbing the closed Vaseline and a couple more items and setting them all down, taking a few sterile wrapped tiny little cups and stacking them on her rolling table. KJ was definitely prepared, nodding to herself she slowly moved back to the front of the store. Dark eyes staring down at some of her work under the glass of the desk. All she had to do now was wait and her client would be here soon and she wasn’t quite sure what kind of tattoo he was getting so surely he would have to look around for a moment first, surely they would see the professional KJ, maybe not the same girl that came from her home town not too far away.
